Walking in the high Himalaya ,though unbelievably exhausting,was for me the most awe inspiring experience.The chortens, precariously balanced and constantly renewed , created fascinating juxtapositions of time and scale.This painting is not yet finished but it is the start of a new series in which I intend to convey some feeling of the spiritual relationship that the mountain dwelling peoples have with their mountainous kingdoms.

We have just returned from Morroco ,so as you could imagine my palette has changed dramatically.

These two images are Piles on Dartmoor, a wonderful remote wood high on the moor with the Erme rushing through.
